Our Canadian office/laboratory facilities are located in Courtenay, British Columbia. Aquametrix maintains all of the field, laboratory and office equipment necessary to complete the projects we undertake, in-house. Our west coast facility maintains an extensive field sampling/survey equipment inventory, striving to remain current with technological change and innovation (see Technical Resources).


During 2004, and subject to regulatory approvals, Aquametrix will be developing an Aquaculture Training and Research Centre (ATRC) that will support 4,000 sq. ft. of research/accommodation space on a dedicated farm site located on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The 10 hectare site will also maintain a variety of shellfish and finfish infrastructure, supporting long-term aquaculture research and practical training opportunities.
